Amber should just leave. It’s pissing me off.

I hope Amber’s album does so well that she decides that she no longer wants to come back to the show. IMO, she has out gown the show and she’s too good for it. They obviously don’t respect her character and nor does the fandom so why stay in a place where you are no appreciated? I say screw ‘em and close that chapter in your life. It’s time to move on and take a different path. Glee is already a sicking ship, it’s time to get off.

I can somewhat understand not including Lauren/Ashley since she’s not on the show anymore. But the other two, not so much.

Jenna is almost always left out, Amber has been getting left out less lately. But seriously, don’t do shit like that and then not include them, especially since they were two of the original 5.

In a way, it’s worse when fandom does it. Magazines? Okay, they might have legitimate reasons - like when Amber was sick for the FNO shoot. They probably don’t, but sometimes they do. Fandom? Fandom doesn’t have to worry about that. Members of fandom can go to google and get whatever picture they want. They’re making a conscious choice to leave those two women out, with no decent reason. They’re not leaving them out because Amber’s sick or Jenna doesn’t want to do that shoot, they’re leaving them out because, for whatever reason, they’ve decided that those two don’t count. They’re basically saying a few things (I’m going to use dot points, I’m lazy)

• Amber and Jenna aren’t pretty enough to be included, or aren’t as pretty as the other girls
• Amber and Jenna aren’t important enough
• Amber and Jenna aren’t feminine enough to count as the “girls of Glee” 

I’m not even sure which of those is the worst, tbh. 

Sure, I know people will say “But I just liiiiiiiiiiike those four more!”, but hey, fandom, have you considered why you like them more? Tell me why. I know if I did a photoset about the ladies of Glee and only included, say, Dot, Jane, Ashley, Lauren, Amber and Jenna, people would moan about “BUT WHERE’S DIANNA, LEA NAYA AND HEATHER?!?!?!?! omfg why aren’t you including them?!?! they’re on the show too!!!!”.

There’s nothing quite as disappointing as seeing “The GIRLS OF GLEE!” and having it include Lea and Dianna (okay, two of the original girls) and Naya and Heather (two people who were guest stars for the first season), and, oh hey, apparently Jenna and Amber have stopped existing despite being full time since scene one, episode one, season one. I get not including Ashley and Dot and Jane and Lauren (Guest stars or former guest stars, or not one of the ND actresses), but to leave out two of the full time ND actresses is just so wrong. Ugh it pisses me off so much.

(Oh, and on a semi-related note? Stop putting Chris/Kurt in with the girls in things, or leaving him out of the boy’s group. It’s reaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllly offensive)

All of this. Just all of it.

The fandom has absolutely no excuse, and part of the reason that makes it so frustrating is that THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER. A good majority of the fandom can attest to feeling like the underdog, which is part of the reason so many people were originally drawn to Glee in the first place. But what do they do once they’re apart of the fandom? They latch on to the 4 conventionally attractive girls on Glee, and virtually ignore the two WOC. And then they try and say that they’re all for equality and acceptance, yet they treat two of the regular actresses (whose characters are two of the original members of Glee Club) like shit.

I see you fandom.
